Le nouvel album de Dr Dre sera donc "Compton, A Soundtrack by Dr Dre".
L'album tant attendu "Detox" ne sortira jamais et afin de contenter ses fans et lui même, il a préféré stopper ce projet pour repartir de zéro : "il ne me plaisait pas, je ne le sentais pas" a expliqué Dr Dre dans l'émission "The Pharmacy" sur la radio Beats 1.
Ce nouvel album sera composé de 16 titres avec pour invités Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Xzibit, Marsha Ambrosius, Jill Scott...
